Our Mission:
Razors is dedicated to combining the best of the old-fashioned barber shop, with the most current hair cutting and styling techniques.  Razors specializes in making the modern man look and feel their best in a comfortable masculine atmosphere.  Here at Razors we want your next grooming experience to be unique.  Razors is Richmond’s first all-male grooming lounge. Located in historic Shockoe Slip, we are just minutes from Richmond’s financial district.

We offer full barbershop and grooming services including hair cuts, straight razor shaves, hot towel service, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, massage treatments, and shoe shines. We are committed to giving you premire grooming services in a relaxed environment. All other services along with a complimentary beer, wine, soda, etc.   However our ABC license does limit the amount of alcohol that we give out.

Our Staff:

Owner:  Chris “Bo” Taylor graduated with an MBA from VCU with his bachelors degree from Radford. Putting together the idea to have the first all male salon and spa in Richmond, Bo created Razors LLC in 2006. His goal was to make Razors one of the most professional yet comfortable places for a man to go for grooming.  In addition to owning Razors, he is an Environmental Biologist for Dominion.

Receptionist/Massage Therapist: Chanti Lowenberg received her Associates in Applied Science in Health Science, and majored in Massage Therapy with 600 clinical hours in 2007 at Medical Careers College in Midlothian .   She’s continued her education with Thai Massage at the Bodhi Tree Learning Center , has had experience in Chiropractic and Spa environments and specializes in Deep Tissue, Stretch Sessions and Thai Massage.

Stylist: Beth Allen has been a hairstylist for 25 years.  She graduated from the Hairstylist University out of Hopewell and has trained with Paul Mitchell, Redken, Wella and Rofler, specializing in Razor Cuts, Hair Color, Old School Shaves and Head Shaves.

Stylist: Meshael Redd has been a stylist for 5 years and graduated from the Outeryou Salon, a privately owned salon school, out of Farmville.  She is trained in Redken and Paul Mitchell and specializes in Precision haircuts, Color and Old School Shaves.

Stylist: Brenda Deyo graduated from the Advanced College of Cosmetology in Richmond , and has been a stylist for 20 + years -15 of which she owned her own salon. She is also currently an Instructor of Cosmetology and Barbering. Brenda specializes in Haircuts, Color and Select Spa Services.
